 Top Gear Fuzz

Vintage Top Gear Fuzz electric guitar effects pedal/stompbox. This beautiful example is rare in and of itself, but when compounded with such an excellent condition, you have a pedal that is nearly impossible to find. Well, search no longer because here it is. This is a very rare UK-made Fuzz in an amazingly gorgeous un-breakable black and red box and was intended to compete with Dallas Aribiter’s famous Fuzz Face. Made for a music retailer in England with the name “Top Gear” it is believed that Sola Sound actually manufactured the pedals on their behalf. This pedal is exceedingly rare even if you’re a fanatical vintage stompbox collector.

 1982 RM Octavia

Vintage 1982 Roger Mayer Electronics Rocket Series Octavia “Autograph Edition” electric guitar octave/effects pedal. This particular example is in excellent all original condition and includes the original instructions, as well as the original box! The Octavia produces a sound that is an octave higher than the note you are presently playing. This doubling effect is accomplished through electronic mirror imaging techniques that are program sensitive and also respond to the feedforward inputs of the player. The electronic circuitry is analogue in design and will react faithfully to all the subtleties and harmonic overtones from the guitar.

 1976 Univox Funky Filter

Vintage 1976 Univox MU-1500 Funky-Filter electric guitar effects pedal. Although this pedal says Univox on it, inside, this pedal has the exact same schematic and electronics as it’s more popular counterpart, the Mu-Tron III. The Mu-Tron II was perhaps the most famous of the excellent Musitronics product line, and was an instant success when originally introduced in the 1970s, and has remained popular ever since. The Univox Funky-Filter is an incredible sounding envelope filter/follower effect which has become an integral component of all bass players’ pedal boards, in addition to, a great effect for guitar, keyboard and synth.

Vintage 1969 Fender Blender electric guitar fuzz/effects pedal. This particular example, 1632, is in very excellent near MINT, all original condition and includes a non-original box. Not only does it give you beautiful singing fuzz and sustain, it can get an amazing Octavia sound, which has said to be used on numerous Hendrix songs.

 1967 Marshall Supa Fuzz

Vintage 1967 Marshall Supa Fuzz (model no. 1975) electric guitar effects pedal. This extremely rare early variety (1st version) has the exact same circuit as the famed Professional Mk II Tone Bender and also features: a very early perforated hand-wired circuit board, a non-raised/non-script silk-screened “Supa Fuzz” logo, and (3) OC81D germanium transistors. This extremely rare pedal also features simple controls for Volume and Filter and is housed in an angular cast aluminum box with a classic hammerite finish.
