 1940s Ampro PA 3

For sale is this vintage 1940s Ampro PA-3 projection amplifier. Possibly the best sounding guitar amp I’ve ever heard, I purchased every single example I could find, regardless of condition, in hopes to recreate the magic from my first. This particular example, serial number 1511, is in nice vintage cosmetic condition, however, I was never able to properly service the amp to factory specs., which is when they sound their best. Unfortunately, I know little about this particular model amp, aside from the fact that it can produce better-than-Marshall tone.

 1986 Mesa/Boogie Mark III

For sale is this vintage 1986 Mesa/Boogie Mark III electric guitar amplifier. This particular “Red Stripe” version, serial number 19175, is in excellent all original condition and includes the original Rhythm footswitch. The Mark III series was a true revolution in amplifiers and a testament to Mesa’s “Spirit of Art in Technology” motto. Features included a five-band Graphic Equalizer, refined double 3-spring Hammond Reverb unit, beautiful hardwood cabinets, 60w or 100w of output, Mesa patented Simul-Class power for tube variations, and a cooling fan.

 1967 Vox Galaxie

For sale is this vintage 1967 Vox Galaxie model 95-924211 electric guitar solid state amplifier. This particular Ampliphonic Sound series example, serial number 1259070, is in very excellent 100% all original condition! The Galaxie, and Satellite were Thomas’ attempt to keep VOX products in front of audiences during the late 1960′s when Marshall and Fender were edging VOX products off rock stages. These “VOX Ampliphonic Music Stands” were self contained combination amplifiers and music stands. They were trapezoid in shape in all three dimensions and included a music light and an area to hold sheet music. This example features a built-in A-440 pitch tuner and footswitchable reverb and vibrato.

 1979 Marshall 2203 JMP Mark II

For sale is this vintage 1979 Marshall 2203 JMP Mk. 2 Master Model Lead 100w amplifier head in White with the original matching set of both the straight and slant cabinets. This incredibly rare amplifier, serial number 07199L, is best identified as being the exact model and color made famous by Randy Rhoads. In fact, Marshall recently reissued a limited edition reincarnation of this amp under the model designation 1959RR, which sold for over $3,800.00 by itself, and has since become discontinued.

 1970 Ampeg SB 12

For sale is this vintage 1970 Ampeg SB-12 Portaflex electric bass guitar amplifier. This particular example, serial number 092061, is in near mint 100% all original condition! Sure this immaculate original may look like a new Ampeg Heritage Series reissue, but don’t be fooled by the fresh appearance of the original exterior, as this near pristine example is an absolutely incredible, seemingly perfectly preserved, original ’70 SB-12! Ampeg is considered the ultimate in bass amplification, and this happens to be a near perfect all original example, so do not hesitate because finding a better example might not be possible.
